Start by looking at the learner journey and the current LMS: what it supports, where learners or administrators encounter difficulties, and which systems the experience needs to connect with. An LXP is not automatically necessary just because an organisation already has an LMS. Annex’s published approach includes research, journey mapping, architecture analysis and early prototypes or technical proof of concepts to test possible solutions. Those findings can help clarify whether improvements to the existing setup or a different platform approach is more suitable.
Public Q&A
How would you tell whether learners need a separate LXP or just a better-connected experience in our LMS?
Useful next steps
Use this answer as a practical starting point. Current scope, specifications, compatibility, availability, pricing, timing and next steps should be confirmed directly with Annex where they affect a decision.
